Junctions

Posted on October 26, 2008August 23, 2010 by Ed Medley

Unheeded until
clicketyclack, switching,
come junctions, where our lines
combine and meet and apart

and sometimes we must
alight abide awhile
to wait the next rain

.

on a empty bench;
watch and shyly peer

at those who must bustle still –

until
on time, the right train comes

and we board thrilling
to enjoy the next adventure

coupled entrained and ensemble
with a like locomate
