dirty/rude/silly haikus

Posted on October 7, 2023October 11, 2023 by Ed Medley

the soil: slime grime
rests cohesively upon the
foot that impresses it

a report due! you clamor
silly client be rested and
just pay the bill

Medley utters words as
drippily pungent as honeyed cabbage
steaming on the china

Notes:

  1. This nonsense was (regrettably) discovered while rummaging through my hard drive this morning. Sorry.
  2. These not-haikus (not 5/7/5 syllables) were submitted to the Geo3 Haiku Festival in February 1999. They were the only entries
  3. Geo3 was  the Geological, Geotechnical and Geomechanical Engineering Group of Exponent, Inc, Menlo Park, CA.
