Maggie Antoinette Gredley in ~ 2002 - The Full Moonty ( E Medley) Maggie Antoinette Gredley - sheared June 2009 ( E MEdley) Downsized means smaller, shrunken, poorer. Maggie has downsized this week. She was sheared from her normal full-size mass of unruly maggie-shagginess to a new svelte style: cool, velvet-coated, sleek. She shed Age too- she looks 3 years old, not 13.

We live in the Age of Downsizing, which follows the much more fun Age of Upsizing. For instance: our 401(k)s engorged during the Age of Upsizing, but then swiftly downsized to an anorexic 201(k). Although gradually regrowing at glacial speed toward 301(k)s, the plunge and subsequent upward dawdle means we have to work much longer. Our plans to enjoy the Age of Retirement have been downsized too.
